# Job Search

> Search thousands of job listings by title, company, or keyword with filters for location, remote work, and employment type

## Overview

Mokaru's built-in job search lets you find jobs without leaving the app. Search by title, company, or keywords, then filter by location, remote work, employment type, and posting date to find the right match.

## Searching for Jobs

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enter a search query">
    Type a job title, company name, or keyword into the search bar. For example: "Product Manager", "Google", or "frontend developer".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply filters">
    Use the filter options to narrow your results. You can combine multiple filters at once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Browse results">
    Results are sorted by posting date, with the newest listings first. Each result shows the job title, company, location, salary (when available), and employment type.

  <Step title="Save or apply">
    Click **Save** to add a job to your tracker, or click **Apply** to go directly to the application page.

## Filters

Use filters to find exactly what you're looking for:

| Filter              | Options                                           | Description                            |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **Location**        | Any city, state, or country                       | Filter jobs by where they are based    |
| **Remote**          | On / Off                                          | Show only remote-friendly positions    |
| **Employment Type** | Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship        | Filter by the type of work arrangement |
| **Date Posted**     | Last 24 hours, Last 3 days, Last week, Last month | Show only recently posted listings     |

<Tip>
  **Combine location with remote** to find jobs that are remote but based in a specific region. This is helpful when companies hire remotely within certain time zones.

## Daily Database Refresh

Mokaru automatically refreshes its job database every day. The system looks at the most popular job titles across all users and fetches the latest listings, so trending roles are always up to date.

You do not need to do anything for this - fresh jobs appear automatically when you search.

## Free vs. Plus

## Saving Jobs to Your Tracker

When you find a job you're interested in, save it to your [Job Tracker](/features/job-tracker) to keep everything organized. Saved jobs include all the details from the listing so you can review them later, track your application status, and set follow-up reminders.
